Welcome to our site : Extremadura, a different Spain!

In 1995 we, a Dutch couple, visited Extremadura for the first time. Within a short time we became spellbound by this region in the interior of Spain. We could not believe that it was so beautiful! We discovered a combination which is becoming an uncommon phenomenon in Europe: vast sceneries, sparsely populated and a tranquillity which is unique.

Our need to be in Extremadura more often, finally resulted in serious plans to settle there. We took the step and emigrated to Spain, to the region of Extremadura. In october 2012 we will start our business with four self catering chalets for rent in a unique enclosure, close to Monfragüe National Park.

Extremadura is perchance the best kept secret of Western Europe.
